NEW APPRENTICES AT THE PLATZL HOTEL
Now that our previous apprentices have successfully completed their training, we are looking forward to welcoming our new recruits! At the beginning of September, seven young and motivated apprentices started their careers at the Platzl. During their three-year training, they will become acquainted with all of our departments from housekeeping, reception, and the kitchen to accounting and our restaurant service.
Of course, we do not want to keep these young women and men a secret. In the photo, from left to right, you will see Anna-Maria Davoli (restaurant manager), Annabelle Ziemek (hotel manager), Julia Leipold (hotel manager), Julia Scheffels (restaurant manager), Luca Behlke (hotel manager), Luca Grozavu (hotel manager), and Matthias Kolle (hotel manager).
During their training, the ambitious staff will participate in many training modules, which will help them to continually expand their knowledge and acquire valuable advice for their day-to-day work in the hotel. They are already excited to start planning the hotel’s in-house kick-off party. Despite the intensive programme, we would like to give the young restaurateurs the opportunity to settle in and get to know their new colleagues and fellow apprentices through joint excursions and get-togethers.
The Platzl Hotel has been certified by DEKRA and is one of the few hotel companies in Germany to be given the “excellent education” seal. For exactly this reason, we have always enjoyed great popularity among young applicants. The content and salary of the training contract are of course in accordance with the guidelines of the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association. After one and a half years, our apprentices will have to prove themselves in an interim examination.
The entire Platzl team is excited to start the new training year with all seven apprentices, and we are looking forward to a pleasant cooperation!
